Virginia Event

In Virginia, over 40 NOAA employees joined Virginia's Secretary of Natural Resources L. Preston Bryant, Jr. and over 40 staff from several local organizations to restore a portion of the James River.  Volunteers planted native marsh grasses, cleared debris from the James River shoreline, and participated in the release of an Atlantic sturgeon.
